A few house keeping items to inform you about.

PAYMENT:

 

* REMINDER: YOUR CARD HAS NOT BEEN CHARGED AND PAYMENT IS DUE UPON ARRIVAL

ARRIVAL TIME:

 

* Please note, you are required to arrive 15 minutes early before your game reservation.

* If you are late, time will be deducted from your game time so as not to affect the game players in the reservations after you.

RESCHEDULING:

* If you need to reschedule within 2 days of your reservation due to emergencies, weather, illness, etc, fees may occur but here are your 4 options:
       1) Keep your reservation, in which case, no further action is necessary, and you are able to replace players if certain members cannot attend.
       2) Reschedule your reservation to another date, with no rescheduling fees to a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.

(No Weekends, Stat Holidays, Holiday weeks like March Break or Dec 26th - Jan 2nd)
       3) Reschedule your reservation to another date (including weekends and holidays), with a 30% Rescheduling fee charged immediately,

and your game will be charged on the day of.

       4) Cancel your reservation, and our cancellation policy applies in full. 

* Any Reschedulings will not be permitted to be moved or cancelled again.


CANCELLATIONS:
 

* If you need to cancel please provide us with 2 Days or more notice for reservations, otherwise fees WILL occur.

* Any group that no shows or cancels last minute will be required to pay the full amount if within 24 hours or 50% if within 48 hours.
* There is no fee if cancellations happen more than 2 Days before your reservation.


CHANGES IN # OF PLAYERS

 

 * Same day # of player changes, or changes without notification (24 hours or less) in participants may result in covering the entire cost of the original booking and is at the Managements discretion.

OTHER INFORMATION:

 

* All of our games are private.

* Cell phones can be stored in our lockers and are free to use.

*  We have a zero tolerance policy for any person or group who harasses, abuses or is inappropriate with any of the Owners, Managers or Staff Members. Any group or persons who physically assaults, verbally assaults, or makes lewd, threatening or inappropriate comments towards any member of the Durham Escape Rooms Team will be asked to leave the premises and no refunds will be given. Additionally, any game players attempting to participate while under the influence of any mind-altering drug other than caffeine or prescribed medication, our staff reserves the right to refuse anyone for any reason as we need to ensure the safety of all players and staff.

* Any time there is at least 1 game player that is 15 years or younger, we require an adult that is 18 years or older in the room as a participant.

 

FOR CORPORATE GROUPS DURING OFF HOUR BOOKINGS
* Cancellations or changes to numbers are to be done no later than 5 days prior.
